Lets Lose Some Weight

The Holidays are almost over and its time for everyone to work out. Whether its walking, swimming, bike riding or working out to a tape we should all get together and encourage each other to lose those extra pounds. So who is with me on this?

We can all start with a beginning weight and each week we will chart our progress. Let me know if your interested in doing this.

Today is 1/04/10 and working out with my daughter I have now lost 5 pounds. Yaaaaayyyy. :)

I'm with you. ^_^ It's weird that I read this today, though, because my roommate decided that tomorrow (Monday) she's ready to do it with me, too!

Well Rosey, as you already know ..... me and Chevy started our live style change since April. Not a diet but total change in what you eat daily. So far Chevy lost 11kg (around 25lbs) and me 10kg (around 22lbs). We were worried with the festive season and the cold winter that we'll gain weight but so far we're stable at our weight and no gain :bgrin: It's actually very easy ..... low fat, sugar and salt, no in between meals and no late night meals or snacks. Surf the net for 'light' recipes and read all labels before you buy anything! And exercise whenever you can :yes:

That's great advice Laura. It's good to work out with someone than by yourself. I get so frustrated when I see those young sexy chicks on the 20 minute work out tape that I want to look like them now, but I know at my age it takes longer to lose the weight.

Bet you can't wait for nicer weather so you and Chevy can go out and bike ride.

Well I slacked off for three weeks. I just didn't have the energy to work out but since I've look at myself in the mirror and spring is around the corner I decided today to work out. So it's back to the grindstone to getting these body parts in shape again.
