Health Care Bill

Health care is about to be railroaded through the congress garnering a whopping 25% support from the people of America. Today the CBO ( independent congressional budget office) stated the Obama budget would not save $900 billion rather cost that much. Obama staff came out today to say, "we meant the saving would be realized in the second decade". Lets see if I got this right, I pay more in taxes and receive less in health care to see a benefit maybe in 20 years, sounds like social security to me. One would think the gull bladder removal surgery on Rep Murtha a strong supporter of Obama;s health care takeover would have been a clue. Murtha went in for a simple surgery only to have the doctors cut into the intestines poisoning him which ultimately killed him. Do we really want this type of health care, I say no! Where in the constitution is congress authorized to force me to buy government health care? Where in the bill of rights is every citizen given a right to health care? Its been just over a year for this administration and at this rate, the bill of rights and constitution should just about be null and void in its entirety by year three. Democrats are jumping ship left and right while the people have made it crystal clear, if this health care bill is forced apon us, we will replace all democrats in the next election. So, what is Obama and the left thinking? Pass one major piece of legislation which 1/4 of the population supports that strips the Democrats of the house, very possible the Senate, and losses their majority in both houses making for a lame duck President. I should also add that its very possible that the Republicans could not only pickup the majority but also get a veto over-riding majority making is extremely unlikely for a second term Pressident.
Yep, you just keep on pushing Mr President, push yourself right out of office. What we do need is free mental health as the congress is driving most and many nuts,lol...

Oh, I don't know about that, Matthew! This presumes that Nancy Pelosi has the votes in her pocket to pass the Senate bill as is. However, it would not only appear that she doesn't have the votes now, but it also appears she's losing more and more of her influence (read: Iron fist) with every passing day.

BHO is in a panic about getting something, ANYTHING passed as soon as possible because if this thing drags out until it's time for Congress to take their Spring break, and if those Democrat congressmen go home to more TEA Party protests it could shake things up right up until time for the election in November. Come January 2011 it'll all be over except for the shouting.
